Case Study 2
Georgia Department of Natural Resources – Wildlife Resource Division – Non-Game: A Case Study
Our Client
As one of six divisions within the Department of Natural Resources (DNR), the Wildlife Resources Division (WRD) is charged with conserving, enhancing and promoting Georgia’s wildlife resources, including game and nongame animals, fish and protected plants. For the past 25 years WRD has held a fundraiser, Weekend for Wildlife, to support nongame and endangered wildlife conservation. This program receives no state funding and is, therefore, dependent on federal funding and voluntary contributions.
Their Challenge
WRD’s objective is to create a different logo theme for the event each year. The theme has to be inviting and appealing to donors and corporations that support Wildlife efforts. WRD must connect with donors that support wildlife conservation in order to increase necessary funding.
Our Solution
Our designers created the look for the event through the use of photography, illustration and graphic elements. This look is carried forward onto a Corporate Sponsorship targeted brochure. In addition, we were asked to create a brochure that targets individuals with an exciting, one-of-a-kind weekend retreat that consists of unique excursions led by wildlife biologists, an elegant banquet with the Georgia Governor and an exciting verbal auction featuring original artwork and exclusive trips and more.
The Results
We value the relationship we continue to build with the good people at the WRD. We’re proud to have been a part of their fundraising efforts for over 20 years. If you would like to learn more about the good work they do, feel free to visit: http://www.georgiawildlife.com/ If you’re in a generous mood, I’m pretty sure they would be happy to accept your donations year-round.
